Rainbow Six Siege patch to bring server and hit detection improvements

Rainbow Six: Siege is out and many people are actually quite impressed with it. However, the game does have its issues, mainly poor hit detection and networking errors. Fortunately, Ubisoft is working on these things and Patch 1.2 is set to hit this week.
Matchmaking errors seem to be affecting all platforms, though, from my own personal experience, the situation appears to be worse on the Xbox One compared to the PC.

The patch notes include improvements like an updated server tick rate for all PC users though this will arrive later on consoles. Additionally, you can now select a preferred data center on the PC, this feature isn’t coming to consoles for the time being, though. Finally on the matchmaking side, the system will now pair people using the same data center to ensure better ping for everyone.
Aside from that, there are various bug and UI fixes to be found across all three platforms. You can find the full patch notes, HERE.
